Just As You Are

Integrative Psychotherapy in Swansea with Holli Yeoman, Trainee Psychotherapist

Psychotherapy offers the possibility of meeting some of the simple human needs that can be rare to find in today’s busy society: a space to be heard, and to be able to hear your own story, with its passions and its pain; a space to be seen, and to see yourself in both new and reaffirming ways; a space for the expression and unfolding of your true nature, for tuning in to your heart and soul, and for being welcomed just as you are.

I offer this welcoming space where we can explore together any troubles or wishes, hopes or fears you may have in your life. As an integrative practitioner, I incorporate a range of approaches that will support us to look at patterns you may be stuck in, or ways you are not feeling fulfilled, or any other challenges you may be facing.

I am a trainee integrative psychotherapist at the Welsh Psychotherapy Institute, 54 Charles Street, Cardiff, CF10 2GF. I am offering therapy as part of the WPI affordable therapy service.

I am a registered member of UKCP and fully supported by their policies and code of ethics. I have appropriate insurance and a current DBS.

I offer sessions of 50 minutes long, usually weekly, and the cost is £35, with concessions negotiable for those on low incomes.

A little bit more about me

My background is as a project manager in the voluntary sector, where I found my niche putting things back where they belong, while quietly nurturing my own longing to find my place in the world.

Training to be a psychotherapist is part of this journey, and I love the learning about myself that is involved; it balances my natural curiosity about other people and their stories. I’m fascinated by the place of connection where I appreciate another as a unique human being while also recognising the things that we share in common as members of the human race.

I’m naturally sensitive, imaginative and creative with a strong commitment to fairness and empowerment.

“To see those eyes looking back at you,
as eyes should see you at last,

seeing you, as you always wanted to be seen,
seeing you, as you yourself
had always wanted to see the world.”

— David Whyte
